Using this website

What these terms cover, who they apply to, and how the information published here should be used.

What these terms cover

These terms cover your use of this website, including the service pages that describe the chimney and fireplace work AR Chimney Pros performs. They sit alongside the written estimate or invoice for any job we do for you. Where the two differ, the estimate or invoice for your job is the document that applies.

See chimney cleaning
Who they apply to and when

They apply to everyone who browses this site and to anyone who asks us for work through the site, by phone or by email. They take effect on October 15, 2026 and replace any earlier version published here. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site or request service.

The information here is general

Pages on this site explain how we usually approach common chimney problems in Denver metro and Front Range homes. They describe typical conditions, not your chimney. Nothing written here is a diagnosis, a safety clearance or a substitute for an on-site inspection by a technician.

See creosote removal
Requests you send through the site

A contact form, voicemail or email is a request for service, not a confirmed appointment. Your booking is set once we give you a date and an arrival window. Please do not use the site to report an emergency. If you smell gas or see fire or smoke, call 911 or your gas utility first, then call us.

See Level 1 inspection
Acceptable use of the site

Use this site for lawful purposes only. Do not attempt to interfere with how it runs or to access parts of it that are not public, do not copy our pages or photographs for another business, and do not submit another person's contact details without their permission.

These terms work together with our privacy policy, which explains what we do with the information you give us when you call or fill in a form.

Estimates, quotes and the work itself

How pricing is handled, what a written estimate covers, and which document governs each job.

Before you get a price

No prices are published on this site

We do not list prices, packages or promotions on this website, and nothing here is an offer of a fixed price. What a job involves depends on the chimney, the access and what the technician finds on site.

See Level 2 inspection
What we can tell you over the phone

If you describe what you are seeing, hearing or smelling, we can explain how a visit is normally scoped and roughly how long it takes. That conversation is guidance so you know what to expect. It is not a quote and it does not bind either of us.

Photos and descriptions you send us

Photos help the technician arrive with the right tools. They cannot confirm the condition of a flue, a crown or a liner. Any figure discussed before a technician has been on the property is provisional and may change once the system has been examined.

Booking a visit does not commit you to repairs

Scheduling a cleaning or an inspection does not oblige you to accept any repair we recommend. You decide what goes ahead after you have read the written estimate, and you are free to decline or to get another opinion.

The written estimate

Estimates follow an on-site inspection

We provide a written estimate after a technician has examined the chimney, fireplace or venting in person. The estimate sets out the work proposed, the components it covers and anything that is excluded.

See how an inspection is scoped
What the estimate includes and excludes

Read the scope line by line. Work that is not listed is not included, and related work on other parts of the system is quoted separately. If you want something added before we start, tell us and we will update the estimate first.

See full chimney repair
If we find something once work has started

Masonry and flue work sometimes uncovers conditions that were hidden while the chimney was closed up. When that happens we stop, show you what we found and give you a revised estimate before carrying on.

The written estimate or invoice governs the job

Your written estimate, and then the invoice for the completed work, form the agreement for that specific job. If anything on this website appears to conflict with those documents, the estimate or invoice applies.

Approving work and asking for changes

Work begins once you approve the estimate. Changes requested after approval are confirmed in writing, and the scope is updated before we carry them out, so there is always a current document describing what we are doing.

See chimney relining

Invoices, records and follow-up

Invoices and payment

Each job is invoiced unless your estimate states another arrangement. Payment terms and the methods we accept are stated on the invoice itself. Ask the office if anything on the invoice is unclear before you pay it.

Reports and records of your visit

Where a visit produces an inspection report or written findings, we give it to you and keep a copy in our records. If you need another copy for an insurer, a buyer or a real estate agent, call the office and ask for it.

Permits and other trades

Some work requires a permit or coordination with another trade, such as a roofer or a gas fitter. We tell you when that applies, what it means for the schedule and who is arranging it, before the job is booked.

If something is not right after we leave

Call the office and describe what you are seeing. We will go back over the scope that was agreed and arrange for a technician to look at the work. Raising it with us directly is faster than any other route.

Scheduling, access, safety and contact consent

What we need from you on the day of the visit, and what you agree to when you give us your phone number.

Booking and confirmation

Call the Lakewood office at 720-608-7668 or the Arvada office at 720-791-2430 to book. We are open Sunday through Friday, 8am to 5pm, and closed Saturday. Tell us what the visit is for when you call, for example a sweep, an inspection or a gas fireplace that will not light.

See gas fireplace inspection and repair
Rescheduling and cancellations

Plans change. Call the office as early as you can and we will move your appointment to another day. For a same day change, please phone rather than email, and do not rely on a message left outside office hours reaching us in time.

When we have to move an appointment

Snow, ice, lightning, high wind or a roof that cannot be worked safely will stop rooftop work. If we need to reschedule for weather, safety or a job that runs long, we call you and offer the next available slot.

Access to the home

Someone aged 18 or older needs to be at the property to let the technician in, answer questions about the system and approve any change in scope. We also need a place to park close enough to carry ladders and equipment to the chimney.

Clearing the work area

Clear a path to the fireplace and move rugs, electronics, artwork and anything fragile away from the hearth before we arrive. We use drop cloths and dust protection, but our technicians do not move valuables or heavy furniture.

Pets, children and the work zone

Keep pets and children away from the firebox, the ladder and the ground below the roof while work is underway. If you think an animal is living in the chimney, tell us when you book so the technician arrives prepared for it.

See chimney animal removal
Unsafe conditions and work we may decline

A technician may stop or decline work where conditions are unsafe, for example an unstable roof, standing water, damaged framing or an appliance that cannot be operated safely. We may recommend that you stop using the fireplace until a repair is made. The decision about using your system after that is yours.

See chimney leak repair
Calls and texts you agree to receive

When you give us your phone number, you agree that we may call or text you about your request, scheduling, arrival times, estimates and invoices. Message and data rates from your carrier may apply. Our privacy policy explains what we hold and how to ask us to change or delete it.

Read the privacy policy
Email and opting out

We use email for confirmations, estimates, reports and invoices. If we send a service reminder you do not want, reply STOP to a text or tell the office and we will take you off that list. We will still contact you about a job you have booked.

Content, links and liability

Who owns what you see here, what this website can and cannot tell you, and where responsibility sits.

Our content and how you may use it

The pages, photographs and descriptions on this site are background reading about chimney work, not instructions for doing it yourself.

What the content on this site is for

Each page explains how we approach a type of chimney or fireplace work and what a visit usually involves, so you know what you are buying before you call. It is written for homeowners, not as a technical manual.

See fireplace installation
Who owns the text, photos and logo

The text, photographs, layout, logo and business name on this site belong to AR Chimney Pros or to the people who licensed them to us, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

What you may and may not do with it

You are welcome to read the site, print a page for your own use and share a link to it. You may not republish our pages, place our photographs on another company's website, or use our name or logo in a way that suggests we are connected to or endorse another business.

Photographs taken during a job

Technicians photograph chimneys before and after work as part of the record for that job. Where an image does not identify your home or address, we may also use it to illustrate our work. Tell the technician on the day if you would prefer we did not.

Links between pages on this site

We link between our own pages so you can read about related work, for example a crown repair that follows a water entry problem. Those links lead to other pages of this site and the same terms apply to them.

See chimney crown repair
Accuracy and updates

We keep the site as accurate as we can, but codes, manufacturer instructions, our service list and our coverage area change over time. Pages may be edited, added or removed without notice, and a page staying online does not guarantee a service is available on the date you ask for it.

Reading the site does not start a service relationship

Browsing these pages does not make you our customer and does not create any professional relationship. That begins when we agree on a visit and continues under the estimate and invoice for your job.

Work you decide to do yourself

If you act on something you read here and work on your own chimney, you do so at your own risk. Roof access, flue work, masonry and gas appliances carry real hazards, and this site cannot account for the condition of your particular system.

Other websites, disclaimers and liability

Links we do not control, the limits of what this page promises, and how responsibility is shared between us.

Links to other websites

We sometimes link to manufacturers, standards bodies, utilities or local building departments. We do not control those sites, we are not responsible for what they publish, and their own terms and privacy practices apply once you leave this site.

Read the privacy policy
Products and brands mentioned

Where a product or brand is named, we are describing equipment we install or commonly see in the field. Documentation, instructions and any manufacturer terms for those products come from the manufacturer, not from us.

The website itself

We cannot promise that this site will always be available, load correctly or be free of errors. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or for reasons outside our control, and the site is provided as it is.

This site is not a safety clearance

Nothing you read here confirms that your chimney, flue or appliance is safe to use. Only an on-site inspection by a technician can speak to the condition of your system, and only for the date it was inspected.

Each job stands on its own agreement

Work we did for you earlier does not extend to a later repair, and a repair to one part of the chimney says nothing about the parts that were not in scope. Every visit has its own estimate and invoice.

See chimney repointing
Limits on our liability

To the fullest extent Colorado law allows, AR Chimney Pros is not liable for indirect, incidental or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or from information you relied on here. Responsibility for work we perform is set by the written estimate and invoice for that job. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Events outside our control

Storms, hail, snow, wildfire smoke, power loss, supplier delays and similar events can delay scheduled work or damage a chimney after we leave. We are not responsible for delays or damage caused by events we cannot control.

What we need from you

Tell us before work starts about known structural problems, past repairs, roof condition, leaks, or anything nesting in the flue. We rely on what you tell us when we scope a job, and conditions we were not told about may change the scope or the price.

See chimney caps
If part of these terms does not hold

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, that part is treated as removed and the rest stays in force.

Governing law, changes and how to reach us

The law that applies, how we update this page, and where to send a question about it.

Governing law

These terms, this website and any work we do for you are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute that cannot be settled between us is handled by the courts of Colorado.

Which document comes first

If there is a conflict, the written estimate or invoice for your job applies first, then these terms, then anything else published on this site.

Changes to these terms

We may update this page as our services, our website or the law change. The version published here on the day you use the site or accept an estimate is the version that applies to you. Please check it before you book.

Effective date

These terms take effect on October 15, 2026 and replace any earlier version posted on this website.

Privacy

How we collect, use and store the details you give us when you call, text, email or submit a form is set out in our privacy policy, which forms part of these terms.

Transferring an agreement

An agreement for work at your property is between you and AR Chimney Pros and cannot be transferred to someone else, for example a buyer of your home, without our written agreement. A new owner is welcome to book their own visit.
